Minimum Requirements for Instrument Rating

1. Total PIC Cross-Country (50 hrs. min)
2. Total PIC Cross-Country in Airplane (10 hrs. min)
3. Actual or Simulated Instrument (40 hrs. min)
4. 15 hours of actual or simulated instrument flight training in an airplane
5. 3 hours of actual or simulated instrument flight training in an airplane in the last 2 calendar months
6. One 250nm instrument cross-country airplane training flight, with an instrument approach at each airport, and three different kinds of approaches flown
